Ouch! I just had to laugh at this one. Yep, sound like Maedhros is a little frustrated (to put it mildly). Good thing he's got Fingon by his side.
Fingon's lands were assigned to him? Hmm... that was pretty much my guess as well. ;) Oh, any very nice use of hawks here - especially that gruesome little detail of clawing the Orc's eyeball out. Also, it's nice to see Maglor as a warrior here. I keep running into stories with him as nothing but musician, so it's a pleasant change for me.
And thank you for the implied Maedhros/Fingon. Somehow it always makes a story even better for me. ;)
