Summary: Aredhel as Ice Maiden. Throw in the Helcaraxë and you have a problem. A true drabble because I haven’t done one for B2ME yet. .




The Ice Maiden


The Helcaraxë was cold, icy, and white underneath the darkened heavens above.

It was Aredhel’s habit to dress only in white, but when she pulled her cloak over her dark hair and with her pale skin and blue eyes, she was impossible to see when the winds rose and the snow flew.

Turukáno growled while trading her white cloak for a brightly colored one, swinging it around her body and clasping it closed firmly. “It is enough that they call you an Ice Maiden without my losing you because you are blending into the glaciers. Now, walk with me, sister.”

I think it was driving Turukano a bit mad. I'll switch her name to the appropriate Quenya one before I post the story to archives after the month is over :-) I appreciate your review :-)
