Authors Notes:  I got hit over the head by this yesterday but having written it but not checked it and got it to drabble length.

I lay in wait considering what he said about those coming. I long for sweeter meat than orcs and he has promised me that. Long have I eaten little – and when I have it has been orc flesh. Now I have been promised better food by the creature who he feared me not when he came to my lair. They are approaching I can sense in the darkness – now for the stalk and kill. They shall not escape me – I have strung my webs across the passageway which should hold them if somehow they do. Little can cut through them.
