Misadventures in the Forge

Fëanáro, hurrying through the forge, pointed at a pile of slag. “Move that out of here before you leave for the night.” His workshop door closed behind him.

The apprentices, looking bewildered, began to dismantle the furnace he had indicated, taking it outside.

After several hours Fëanáro re-entered the forge, looked around, and stopped short. “What are you doing?” he asked, barely holding in his anger.

“You said you wanted this moved out of here.”

“I said I wanted the SLAG PILE moved.” He turned and went back into his workroom.

“Well, at least he isn’t crazy.”

“No, just misunderstood.”

Hilarious!! Poor Féanor! And, at the same time, I see his workers'
dilemma. In their efforts to do *exactly* as asked, well... Hilarious, like I said. Loved it!
