He had a great time with the Harlem Renaissance, even it I spent three days in solid research. Titanic is easier for me because I've studied it a lot, but it won't be a good experience, I'm afraid. The Hundred Years War is impatiently waiting for my attention other than basic research at this point. I am a stickler for fact in these stories, and make sure that my characters are accurate and the time frames and events are also correct. My recycling has increased because of research materials that I printed out to flip through.

It's fun, I have been studying certain branches of the Plantagenet houses for years (or in this very specific case I had this shared interest as a child with my dad), so this one is easy for me. The story of the Titanic never appealed to me, but medieval age.... oh yeah!

I agree with you, it is too much fun. The problem is that I know a fair amount about it so narrowing down what time frame I want to focus on is going to be my hassle. There are other periods of history that I know better, but I have been a Brit-a-phile for a long time :-)
