Well, to be honest, I'm more fond of her eldest brother, but I suppose I could be called her fan. ;) Why? She's one of the characters you can't stand?

No, it's just that in writing Aredhel's revisionist history, it struck me that I've never, in eleven years in fandom, met an Aredhel fan (that I can remember, anyway). I think Gríma has more fans than she does!

Poor Irissë... I had no idea people disliked her so much. *sigh* Alright... from now on you can call me Aredhel's fan, so that she'll at least have one of them.

She's an interesting character. I think I'll enjoy writing about her in the future... just like I did during B2MeM. :)

I'm just saying I've met a Gríma fan before - I don't know if Aredhel is actively disliked, or simply roundly ignored. I've simply never met anyone who said s/he had an active interest in Aredhel as an interesting character.

But if nobody (really) likes her, where did all those Celegorm/Aredhel fics come from? I have seen few of those, although I'm not a big fan of that pairing.

Eh... it's probably all Celegorm's fault. ;) I hear there are plenty of girls (and women) in this fandom, who are swooning over him.
