There was one exception to her hospitality; one type the sweet nursemaid, the angel of Gondolin, the last fallen of the House of the Hammer, would not suffer to speak with.

“Go away; and I shall not tell you again!” she shouted over her shoulder as she scurried up her walkway, still followed from the market.

“But we have a right to know – it should be printed!”

Moments later, Meleth exchanged her basket for a broom, and chased them away.

She was much too refined to publish a book exploiting the Lords of Gondolin, no matter how many would sell.
