This year's Back to Middle-earth Month event will involve putting together a compilation of writing and art related to the theme "Four Seasons of Middle-earth." Each day during the month of March, we will post a selection of stories, poetry, and artwork created in response to prompts related to this year's theme.

This is the post where you will claim the prompt you want to work on for B2MeM 2014: Seasons of Middle-earth. Below are instructions for claiming a prompt and the prompt list. Please make sure that you have carefully read the expectations and guidelines before claiming your prompt.

Prompt claims are now CLOSED. If you are interested in writing for B2MeM this year, you are welcome to play with any of the prompts and post your fanworks to the community during the month of March. We will have special days set aside for revealing pieces that weren't created for the compilation. See this post for more information on how to share work that wasn't created for the compilation.

B2MeM 2014:: Seasons of Middle-earth: Beta-Reader Sign-Up

Comment on this post if you would be willing to help out as a beta-reader or provide any other type of assistance to this year's B2MeM participants. (Other types of assistance may include cheerleading, copyediting, chatting/emailing about ideas, research help, or translation/language help.) Please include your fandom name and email address. Comments are screened and we will not unscreen any comments including personal information.

If we receive a request for assistance from one of our participants, we will email you with more information about the participant's project and the type of assistance that she or he needs. You are not required to offer assistance. If you wish to be removed from the email list for beta-readers, comment here or email us at b2mem.mod@gmail.com.
