B2MeM Challenge: I have a bunny here that is looking for a nice home: Erestor and Glorfindel in Gondolin, what would their friendship be like & how did they become friends? How would their dynamics work out? How did Erestor take Glorfindel's sacrifice? This can be a Gen fic, or slash, or het... just see where this bunny will take you. Have fun!
Format: ficlet
Genre: light humor until we realize there’s balrogs coming
Rating: PG13
Warnings: Dorky elves, suggestive comments
Characters: Glorfindel, Erestor, a cat that we can only assume knows how to run sideways on two legs
Pairings: Glorfindel/Erestor
Creators' Notes (optional): I saw this prompt and immediately ran away because I don’t need another Unforgettable on my hands.  Then I came back, because Rhapsody knows my weakness.  I feel there will be a sequel to this.  A short sequel that does not exceed a hundred chapters.
Summary: Banter between Glorfindel and Erestor at an hour when people should be sleeping.

B2MeM Challenge: Based on this prompt from [livejournal.com profile] starbrowElrond and Frodo have a chat about their unique family circumstances and their love for the ones who sheltered and kept them safe as children.
(Remember Bilbo was treated as somewhat of an outcast from the Shire on his return, nothing anything like Maglor & Maedhros of course, but still enough for Frodo to feel it.)

Format: Ficlet
Genre: Gapfiller, Character Study
Rating: G
Warnings: n/a
Characters: Frodo, Elrond
Pairings: n/a
Creators' Notes (optional): A couple of Elrond's conversations with Bilbo occurred in my drabble series Getting Reacquainted and in my drabble Fathers by Choice.
Summary: When Frodo returns to Rivendell after the Quest, he has a conversation with Elrond.

Fathers of the Heart

B2MeM Challenge: Young Faramir (5-15) is tired of being second best to his brother. He's tired of being belittled and punished for small things. He's tired of his father not understanding him. He's especially tired of his brother always having to protect him. He runs away. Does he make it out of Gondor? Does he ever come back? What happens to him in the end? If he comes back, why does he? Was it in vain; will anything change? It's all up to you.

Also, alternatively, how does Boromir feel about this? Does he miss his brother? Will he search, and/or obey his father? Will he help Faramir overcome it?

Format: ficlet

Genre: family, adventure

Rating: PG

Warnings:

Characters: Faramir, OCs

Pairings:

Creators' Notes (optional):

Summary: The adventures of Faramir in company with Captain Targon, continued...as we find out what the source of the disturbance was.

B2MeM Challenge: What about a story about Bilbo's childhood or youth, featuring his parents? – Dreamflower

Format: Ficlet

Genre: Family

Rating: G

Warnings:

Characters: Bungo Baggins, Belladonna Took Baggins, Bilbo Baggins, Pansy Baggins Bolger (mentioned)

Pairings: Bungo/Belladonna

Creators' Notes (optional): This story is dedicated to Dreamflower, whose prompt inspired it, and from whom I took the idea for Bilbo's bedtime story. My Hobbit characterization owes a lot to Dreamflower generally, and no doubt other nods to her fics will be evident! At the age of 11, Bilbo is the equivalent of 7 in human years.

Summary: Eleven-year-old Bilbo Baggins asks for a different bedtime story one night...
