B2MeM Prompt and Category: Create a fanwork that includes an animal that lives in or near the water (fish, whale, seabird, or whatever you like).

... a marching music began like solemn drums, and above the rolling beats and booms there welled voices singing high and strong. (The Two Towers, “Treebeard”)

Format: Ficlet
Genre: Mystery
Rating: PG-13
Warnings:
Characters: Eärwen, Eärendil, Elwing, Brandir (OC)
Pairings: Eärendil/Elwing
Creator’s Notes (optional): Score one for the randomizer again…And ‘Brandir’ was rather nonspecific, so I felt justified in adding mine and Emma’s OC here.
Summary: The sinking of Númenor had far-reaching consequences. They were felt even – perhaps especially – in the uttermost West.

'Elvish singing is not a thing to miss, in June under the stars, not if you care for such things.' The Hobbit

B2MeM Prompt and Category: March 4th daily prompt
Format: Short story
Genre: Gen, fluff
Rating: PG
Warnings: Very mild language and innuendo
Characters: Celegorm, Finrod, Aredhel, Argon, Glorfindel, Inglor, OFC, OMC, Amrod, Amras, Angrod, Aegnor, Maedhros, Fingon, Maglor, Galadriel, Caranthir, Curufin, Aranwë, Turgon, Indis
Pairings: Mention of Turgon/Elenwë; implied Maedhros/Fingon
Creator’s Notes (optional): Of the many options on the card, I used "Aubade", which is a song accompanying or evoking daybreak - or, more strictly, a song about lovers parting at dawn. This fic has a little of both elements. Most of it was written while listening to the Claire Jones albums Girl with the Golden Harp, Screen Serenade and This Love.
Summary: In which Tyelkormo has a hangover, Findaráto gets a black eye, and Turukáno has some big news. Shamelessly feel-good Finwëion fluff, because that's what I needed to write this week.
