Thanks, Linda. It was a bit of a rushed job and I would do it differently if I were to do it again, but that's good because it gives me something to strive for in the future :-) I appreciate your comments on the anvil. It's always hard to reproduce metal in two dimensions.

El idioma se llama Español, pero en el Perú le decimos Castellano. :)

Your Spanish is good! The tildes are placed by hitting the key with a tilde and then the letter.

Hmmm, I tried with the tilde key but all it does is put the tilde between the letters like Esp~nol. Oh well, I'll probably figure it out just in time to forget it by the next time I need to know - LOL.

A fascinating piece, One L, the detail in this drawing is incredible. From the light of the forge reflecting on the stone floor to the heat in the piece Nerdanel is working on, the buckles on her shoes, her gloves - just wow! I also like the way you've portrayed her - almost, but not quite - looking over her shoulder at Feanor. It's clear she knows he's there ... watching.

I love Nerdanel's expression and determination, and the way you've framed her with the background structure (ventilation shaft? Not sure) - and Fëanor obviously being star-struck skulking around in the background.

Thank you so much! The background is a ventilation hood taken from an iron filigree one that I saw in a picture. I think the elves make almost everything beautiful almost out of habit :-)

Very nice use of color and texture, One-L. *Nods up toward elliska's comment* Pastels can be really challenging so the level of detail and the blending of colors are quite impressive. The details of the hood are nice!

The hood was based on a photo of an actual forge and was the starting point for the entire project in my mind. I fell in love with the elaborate decoration and thought it was typical of my interpretation of elven desire to make everything as beautiful as possible.
