Thank you so much for doing a summary post. I don't want to miss any and I fear I would without one.

Thank you for doing a summary - I hadn't realised until I saw this that I had missed a piece.

The piece I loved the most this week, that I'd recommend is Ruins and Silence by Astris. It's a really interesting AU that made me think, and also beautifully angsty.

Rhymer has done a beautiful character study of the Hobbits post Ring War if you like quiet, introspective stories.

If you like the smell of old books and dusty scrolls, you really must take a moment to read The Library by raise_the_knife - another quiet contemplative piece.

And for a little more action and intrigue, I'd highly recommend Kittotter's Crowns of Holly.

If you tend to read in a single area of fandom(guilty!), this is an excellent opportunity to experiment just a little bit outside of your comfort zone. All the story/poetry posts this week have been well-written. Some have been fun, some have been angsty, and some have dealt with difficult subject matter. They've all been thought provoking in one way or another.

And the art has been surpassingly lovely!

Many thanks to the mods who put in all the hours to make this happen for the rest of us who are just cruising by to oooo and ahhhhh.

I really don't think it'll be easy for me to choose, because I had about six favourite pieces. In the interests of fairness, I'll pick one from each genre.

Long fic Rhymer's story, because it felt like a seamless extension of the end of RotK, with a more personal touch, and more of a focus on Merry and Pippin's PTSD than canon gave us. The characterisation was splendid.

Drabble hhimring's I Who Am Water is a wonderful reinterpretation of a character.

Thanks for posting a compilation list. Now that I've finally finished my B2MeM fic (to be posted tonight), I can catch up on my reviews.
