Jewelry for all occasions. We specialize in rings. (This is the stall for prompts set in Ost-in-Edhil, Lindon, and related areas.)
Comments are now closed but you can continue using the prompts; no claiming is necessary.
How to Post your Prompts:
Leave a comment with the subject line identifying the main characters, gen/het/slash/femslash/poly (if it’s not obvious), a brief description of the prompt, and possible warnings if needed (MPTTor SWG’s). The comment itself should be the prompt.
If for some reason you cannot make a subject line appear, please write and bold the relevant information as the first line of your prompt.
The subject lines and/or bold text will allow participants to easily scan for prompts they're interested in.
For example:
Subject line-- Frodo and Aragorn, gen, hurt/comfort at the Field of Cormallen
Comment-- While Frodo is unconscious after being rescued from Mount Doom, Aragorn cares for him.
OR
Comment-- Fëanor/Nerdanel, wedding night, sexual content
On their wedding night, Fëanor and Nerdanel end up not sleeping at all, as they are too busy enjoying each other.

Remember, no fanworks are to be posted in the prompts posts.
Noldorin ladies in Ost-in-Edhil (OFCs encouraged)
Date: 2015-02-25 04:45 pm (UTC)Men are fine--they almost certainly need to be part of the picture. Ost-in-Edhil is not a ladies' world although I am sure their talent was important there and they pushed to be included at highest levels.
I have to acknowledge that Pandemonium's work influences me greatly.

RE: Celebrimbor/Annatar, slash, bling
Date: 2015-03-27 01:11 am (UTC)I'm sure it's going to chew on the leg of the table and pee on the floor when I get home with it, and probably gnaw on one of the other bunnies, but, why not. *tosses you a farthing*
Any elf, anywhere in Eregion, An Unexpected Occupation
Date: 2015-03-02 03:21 pm (UTC)The second character knew him in the past and meets him again now, suprised at the changes, perhaps not believing that he is really happy, perhaps trying to convince him to find a more suitable and fitting occupation. What happens now? Can they rekindle their old friendship or relationship? Or do they fall out completely? Or is the second character just glad to see him again and enjoys being together?
Gen, het or slash. Anywhere in Eregion, even in Rivendell.

Date: 2015-03-02 05:19 pm (UTC)Anyway, this prompt would fit in nicely with my continued world-building of Ost-in-Edhil, in particular the working classes (cf, the "Eagle of Iron" chapter of The Writhen Pool, so here's my farthing.
The response to the prompt may not exactly be prompt, however. ;^)

Date: 2015-03-12 07:07 pm (UTC)Let's listen in to the ladies of his court while at tea and find out...
He must have been under a lot of pressure from his council to marry and produce an heir, so why didn't he? Was he betrothed as a child (not all that uncommon among royalty) -- if so, what happened? Or did something else cause him to prefer remaining single?
