A couple of things
Jan. 15th, 2016 01:39 pm1. It was brought to the mods' attention that the market stall comments were hidden from view. This was not our intention; we want them available for you to use outside of March. The comment settings have changed so they are visible. (Due to the posts' new settings, the ability to make new comments has been restored. However, all new comments made to the stalls are automatically screened. They will not be unscreened because the event is over.)
If you have any problems or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact the mods at b2mem.mod@gmail.com. The email autoforwards to our individual inboxes, so you should hear back from us quickly.
2. We are working on this year's event. An announcement detailing it should be up at the end of the month.

Date: 2016-01-15 07:02 pm (UTC)I am totally confused? The event is over, right or wrong? You are talking about last year's event. My reading comprehension skills feeling challenged at the moment?

Date: 2016-01-15 07:18 pm (UTC)The problem was that when we closed the stalls at the end of last March, sometime between then and now, the comments disappeared from view. In order to have them visible to everyone (in case people want to use them), we had to open the posts back up to new comments. But because the stalls are officially closed, we set the posts to screen all new comments so all new comments will be invisible. Those new comments will not be unscreened.
Does that make more sense?
(I'll go reword the post slightly.)

We cannot lock or freeze all comments (aka prompts) to the posts/market stalls without hiding the prompts. As the prompts are supposed to be visible, we had to do a workaround. That workaround means that new prompts can be left, but because the event is over, no one is supposed to leave new prompts. In order to stop people from adding them, we are screening/hiding all new comments.
This screening literally does not matter to those who want to see what prompts are available. It will merely prevent people from leaving new ones.
