Hey everyone!
We're looking for a moderator for Back to Middle-earth Month 2017. This position is ONLY for the 2017 event; it is not a long-term commitment.
The timeframe is from December through April and the time spent modding varies immensely from week to week depending on what we're doing and how intensive the event is. Planning is usually done via email and Google documents with occasional mod-locked posts on the B2MeM LJ comm. Planning will begin by the end of the second week in December.
Our ideal moderator is:
~ available several hours a week, spread across the week (so near daily). The workload varies, but at a minimum is heavy during the planning periods and during the event itself.
~ comfortable collaborating with a small group of people. Modding is not a unilateral thing; all decisions are agreed upon as a group.
~ comfortable editing and discussing documents such as event explanation posts, FAQs, and guidelines.
~ has participated in B2MeM at least once.
Please email the mods at b2mem.mod@gmail.com on or by December 4 if you are interested. We will email you when we have made a decision.
