These are great. I love the wide variety of styles. I think my favorites are probably the ones by MatsumotoSensei, Filat and Marishe, but they're all wonderful.

(I badly wanted to make my first post, but I also had quite a headache--so I picked something that was relatively easy to assemble because I had the dA collection already.)

"Seven" is great, isn't it?
It was "My Clique" that gave me the idea for the post (although it's now the odd one out), because I enjoyed it a lot.
There's also Toradh's Silm Meme on dA, which includes drawing all seven sons among its tasks--although some participants have found creative ways of getting out of it!

Filat has been producing a lot of great work recently. MatsumotoSensei is also still working or at least it's not long ago that I saw the latest new work. Sadly, I've not seen anything new by Marishe for a long while--but perhaps it's just not being posted to any sites I'm watching.

There are some truly wonderful ones in this collection that I had not looked at in ages. I have mark "favorites" on Deviantart, but there has been such an exploision of Silmarillion art in recent years, that I've been thinking narrowing my categories would be more fun.

These are freaking awesome! They're all great but my faves are "My Clique" and "Feanorions" (because of Caranthir's legs-duh!) And the art with the horses is also really enjoyable.

eeeeeep! how did I not look at all these and comment before? well I am now! I favorited them over on DA but I think my very favorite are the one where Celebrimbor gets to be tallest ( :D ), the one on horseback (where Celegorm's? is looking the other way) and the last one. The Sons of Feanor aren't my favorite characters but these are now my favorite pictures of them :D thanks for sharing them!
