Summary: The moon lights the way as the Company approaches Caradhras.

By the Full Moon's Light

The light of the setting sun glowing upon tall Caradhras had long since faded; bright stars now glittered in the dark sky as the Company pressed forward to reach the Mountain, leaving desolate Hollin behind.  Aragorn led them along a broad, ancient road that seemed to run straight towards the mountain pass.  The path was made of worked stones, now broken and cracked, but they made good time in spite of the rough surface.  As the full moon rose over the eastern mountains, clear light shone upon the road before them; their own shadows, black in the moonlight, followed them.
