Anárion had been doing rounds about camp when he happened upon a conversation that went much like this:

"Two years into it," said one man to another, "and still nothing! Not a shadow to speak of!"

"Pharazôn lured him out in a day..."

Without thinking too much on whether others shared the sentiments or not, Anárion crouched beside them, saying, "Pharazôn lured him out in a day. And where is he now?"

Having made his point, he strode away. A year, two years, four years, ten years! However long it took, but he would not see his people deceived again.
