“Ready?” Celebrian asks.
He nods, but cannot not truthfully answer with any more confidence than that. They’ve sworn their oaths before Eru, witnessed by her parents and his motley collection of guardians; now all that is left to do is--this.
When he makes no move toward her, she unselfconsciously begins undressing herself, removing a simple robe, a bit of underclothing, and then--
They've already snuck off to the woods together a few times with less than reputable intent, but this is his first sight of the full glory of her.
They say he is descended of the most beautiful elf ever born, but that is obviously untrue. The perfection before him, beside him, wed to him defies comprehension. And it is all a reflection of the skill and craft learned from her mother, to mold her body exactly as she wants it to be.
He falls to his knees and presses his lips to the soft, rolling wave of her belly; he could never earn this good fortune but is grateful for it all the same. Again and again he expresses his devotion in kisses across the whole breadth of her.
She laughs softly, drops of silver in the air.
