Summary: While having gone into hiding, Lenglinn receives a summons in Thrimidge (approximately April/May). 

Lenglinn had been forced to quit his post, fleeing into the Wild. That Thrimidge, he camped under a cypress tree, toasting bread over his fire. While he lapsed deep into thought, a hobbit with an air of nobility cantered up on his lively silver-grey pony.

“Well met, Master Hobbit.” Lenglinn rose..

“Berilac Brandybuck at your service, sir,” the Hobbit replied, bowing from the neck; he did not dismount. “You’d be Mr. Lenglinn?”

“I would,” Lenglinn said gravely. “How may I aid you, Master Berilac?”

“You can come with me, sir,” Berilac replied coyly.

Lenglinn mounted his horse, Thistle, and followed.
