Format: Drabble
Genre: Gen
Rating: G
Warnings: None
Characters: Oropher, Thranduil
Creator’s Notes (optional):I love it when a tale comes together in minutes, then reads as exactly 100 words when I work-count check. I got lucky with this look at the love between a father and his son.
Summary:Oropher is viewed many ways by others, but it is only a single viewpoint that is important.
PICTURE OF AN ELF
In his mythos he was fearless - a Warrior King, bringing the battle to their enemies, no trembling or hesitation evident.
In judgment, he was impartial - weighing the facts, digging deeper, delving to find the truth beneath the tilted words.
In anger he thundered - those who experienced it quailed under its force. He kept tight rein on his temper.
His son thought that false - imagination springing from the voices of thousands who knew him from afar. As Oropher led the pony towards Thranduil that fine spring morning, he only knew him as Adar, and that was everything.
