Summary: People exist in the eyes of the beholder. Here are three different views of one person.



A FORCE OF NATURE

Some treated her with reverence. (In the distant future, portraits of her would have featured halos). She would have considered this quite ridiculous - she was practical, after all.

Her daughter remembered her as an imaginative playmate, one who told tales and held doll tea parties. Jealous rivals mumbled harshly about her manipulations of political puppets - it was an accusation that held echoes of truth.

Her husband considered her a strange type of natural disaster. "Galadriel, did you sign a treaty with Moria - again?" he asked as he strode towards her, a sheet of parchment in his hand.

Oh, nettenya, I DO love your Galadriel. Practical, subtly manipulative of political affairs, a strange kind of natural disaster - hehe! I think Atto Fiondil would love this too...

(drat it, now my brain's going back to his "Gwann nin iHul" and I can't stop picturing Galadriel in a t-shirt and blue jeans...okay *rubs head*)

So is Celeborn going to have an...ahem...private discussion with his beloved about that treaty? :)

I can easily see Galadriel in jeans and a t-shirt. She'd totally rock the look. As for the treaty ... I suspect Celeborn is more frustrated with the fact that it's the second treaty with the dwarves of Moria, and probably doomed to failure as much as the first was. Oh well, politics will always fall to the lowest common denominator :-)
