Oh, my goodness! I picked up this prompt to write for B2MeM and never got it done! That was back in what, 2015? Yikes! My apologies!

Well, I still have my notes and there are some good ideas there, so I guess I better dust them off and get back to work!

And that quote reminded me that I had picked up a prompt to write something for that very scenario way back when, where Boromir is that warrior.  I found my jottings about possible ideas, so we'll see if anything comes of it!

Hi! I'm one of the researchers on this study. Could I ask for a small edit to your post? Could you clarify that this study is for all readers and writers of Tolkien-based fanfiction, not just Boromir or LotR? I do not want anyone to assume they are ineligible because their area of interest lies elsewhere. :)

I'm also a moderator on this community (hello, many hats!) and just for future reference, we prefer that people check in with us before posting signal boosts here. We're generally okay with it if it's for an event that's widely applicable to the Tolkien fanfic community (like this would be) but since this comm is intended as a place for posting fanworks created for B2MeM, we want to make sure our focus on that purpose is clear.
