FINAL Batch of B2MeM BINGO Cards!

Yes, this is the final batch of BINGO cards for this year's B2MeM. What you now see is what there is! You can claim cards on the SWG or claim cards on MPTT. (Click here for text-only versions of the cards that are compatible with screen readers.) You can also leave a comment here with the cards you'd like to claim.

You can claim cards at any time before or during B2MeM. If you want your player page to be updated before the first day of March, please try to claim your final cards as soon as possible, preferably by the end of the weekend.

This batch of cards comes courtesy of Rhapsody, Elleth, havamahal, Eärillë, Independence1776, Linda Hoyland, Beruthiel, CrackinAndProudOfIt, Febobe, Allie Meril, Dwim, Naurring, Oshun, and IgnobleBard. *whew* In addition, I'd like to give my most sincere thanks to grey_gazania, Elleth, Rhapsody, and Russandol, who have done the graphics work on almost all of the card requests in this last batch, freeing me to do other stuff, like player pages, schoolwork, card numbering, lesson planning, website coding, and breathing air. (And they're much better graphics designers than me too--this round of cards is beautiful!)

If, by chance, you sent a card or requested one and you do not see it on the list, please let me know. We did not reject your card; it was not deemed unsuitable; all cards were accepted. A technical or administrative error is most likely to blame for any missing cards, and I absolutely want to correct that, if possible. Many of these cards required hours of work to brainstorm, research, and design, and I want no one's efforts to have been in vain.

For the statistically inclined among us, we ended up with a mind-blowing 104 cards.

ETA: I uploaded the new cards to the site a few hours ago, went out to dinner and a movie with my husband, and came home to find some of you had found them before I even announced them! That makes me think enough of you are checking the card claim page pretty regularly. Which worries me just a little. In a completely cool way, of course. ;)

These bingo cards are absolutely wonderful, delightful, highly creative, and totally amazing. I'm so impressed by them all and really loved looking at them, even the ones I didn't choose! There are so very many choices to spark the imagination, whatever your bent is. :) Thank you all so much for all the hard work. I don't know how y'all do it, but I am DEEPLY impressed. :D

I sent in my picks from this batch...I'm playing, what, 13 or 14 now? MAN, you guys are temptation incarnate!

I think this year's B2MeM is really an illustration of the wonders of collaboration. Behind the scenes, we have the comods of the SWG and LotRGen/MPTT and the B2MeM volunteers, who handle all the administrative and technical stuff. On the stage are the about two dozen people who made all of these cards. Some of them, I know, must have taken hours just to dream up. (One cardmaker reported being so engrossed in her research that she missed her bus stop! :) And that doesn't even touch the time it took to actually make the cards. Some of them are, in themselves, works of art.

It's nothing that one or even a few people could have ever pulled off alone. At this point, I think we have about three dozen people who have had hands in getting this event ready to run. It's really quite impressive. :)

I don't think I'll be able to participate but I wanted to let you know that these cards are glorious -- in their creativity and how beautiful they are. They're works of art in themselves. Well done!

I think they are an amazing resource to have because now we can play with them whenever we want. :) So maybe there will come a later time when you can play too. :)

I totally agree that they are works of art in and of themselves. Those who made the prompts and did the designs (sometimes the same person did both!) really outdid themselves.

*laughs nervously* I'm really not going to be sleeping in March, am I? I've ended up with twenty-four cards. And I'm not even playing to win; I just want prompts.

I am claiming the Crackfic card for two main reasons: Jedi Powers and Lightsabers, and Time Travel. The other two loves of my fandom life (Star Wars and Doctor Who) meet the Silm? Oh, yes!

A serious question: for those of us with insane numbers of cards, would a text-only list be easier or harder for you to maintain?

I just claimed...a lot of them. Again. Seriously though, some of these are genius. Varda: Black Hole squee! Also character deaths! I love doing that sort of thing to my characters. :D

Also; whoever created the book titles card just had to use The Robber's Daughter didn't they? Either this is a strange coincidence or someone saw my answer to the latest fandom meme and decided it would be fun to make me claim even more cards. Well, anonymous evil schemer, you have succeeded! I just can't pass up on writing a Tolkienified version of Ronja.

And whoever created the Finrod card didn't happen to work with the person who created the HP card didn't they? The quarterblood prince asdfgh.

I guess my complete overclaiming (again) at least makes me a good b2memsupport founder. I could always pretend I'm actually trying to set an example instead of having a complete lack of restraint. xD

ladyelleth created the Book Titles card (prompts and design) and Earille did both the Finrod and Harry Potter card prompts. (I will eventually post credits for all of the cards but wanted to leave it anonymous to start, since people sometimes feel obligated to claim their friends and so on. :)

Rhapsody did the design for "Beachy" and Earille did the prompts. Rhapsody is really brilliant with graphics design; I thank my lucky stars each year that she's willing to help with graphics for B2MeM! :)

Part of me kind of wishes all these cards were not half as great as they are, because then at least have a chance to actually choose. I'm bad at choosing and this... *dies*. I think I'm giving up. My poor bed will feel very lonely next month.

Hope that insane amount doesn't cause any problems for you. XD For the sake of loading times and ease of use for the stamping people, might I get a text-only list, too?

Welcome to the We've Claimed Too Many Cards Club! :D If it's any consolation, we'll definitely be playing with them again. This is too great a resource to have to use it only once and for one month. :)
