Challenge: Poetic Forms card, B7, Haiku
Author: Azalais
Title: Coire (The Stirring)
Characters: The White Tree of Gondor
Format: poetry
Rating: G
Warnings: none
Summary: C'mon, it's a haiku.... And the notes are longer than the piece. Sorry about that.

Coirë (The Stirring)

The Tree is withered.

But see! A sapling blossoms.

Hope is come again.

~~~
Technically, when Aragorn and Gandalf find the sapling of the White Tree on the mountain-slopes above Minas Tirith it's Lairë (Summer),  [thanks, [livejournal.com profile] blslarner, for the correction!],  not Coirë (Stirring). Call it poetic license...
I have always thought that a Haiku would be seriously hard to write. So much to say and so few words in which to say it! You did it wonderfully well.
