Summary: Memories of times past
Authors Notes: Drabble for this one that has been finished since yesterday but which i forgot to post :).
Barliman decided to take a moment to reflect on the past few days. What the hobbits from the Shire and the fact he had a letter from Gandalf that he had forgotten about. Then the attack on the Pony by those Black Riders - it seemed like it never rains but it pours. Business was good which was one thing to be thankful for. Another was that Gandalf had not cursed him for forgetting the letter – or allowing the hobbits go off with Strider. In fact he had blessed him and his beer – seemed like Strider was the right sort.
