It was remarkable how much could be said with a single word.

Erestor glanced up from their lunch of bread, blackberry honey, and a small bottle of miruvor. “Urug,” he growled, and Bainith did not need to know the exact meaning to know it was foul.

They stooped down and crossed into the field, seeing a gang of goblins on their wargs. There was not a single nicety in the words uttered next. The pair embarked upon guerrilla warfare at its finest – Erestor silently pulling down each enemy in turn, Bainith shocking them into silence. Soon, they were all dead.
