Creator’s Notes (optional): Wild space roller prompt was to complete a step from the Orange Path. Figuring what to do for the nonfiction path was tough! Only one step left :D
Summary: Húrin was fair of face and golden-haired, strong in body and fiery of mood. But the fire in him burned steadily, and he had great endurance of will. Morwen was dark-haired and tall, and for the light of her glance and the beauty of her face men called her Eledhwen, the Elven-fair; but she was somewhat stern of mood and proud. The sorrows of the House of Bëor saddened her heart.

I just read Robinka's new bio of Huor and was struck by the following quotation about Rian: "she was a singer and a maker of songs".
I'd like to see a story that features Rian as maker of songs.
Bonus points for including anything about her relationship with Huor.

Creators' Notes (optional): Although I bought my own prompt and filled it, I can imagine very different fills for this prompt and still hope to see them! My own fill was inspired by other parts of Robinka's bio of Huor as well as the one I quoted in the prompt and is written from Huor's POV, so naturally it is dedicated to

binkaslibrary. The title is a quotation taken from Huor's words to King Turgon just before his death.
Summary: Trying to settle back into his old life after his return from the hidden city of Gondolin, Huor of Dor-lomin meets his future wife Rian of the House of Beor for the first time.

Artist's Notes: So, this series plays around with the run up to the Nírnaeth Arnoediad, and Húrin (and his family's) place in it. Of course, knowing what we know, the prompt is incredibly bittersweet and filled with promises that are doomed to go unfulfilled. For a long time, I struggled how to convey that. In the end, I decided not to try -- instead, I went for something a little easier. Like trying to sell the Union of Maedhros! First thing to do would be to change the name...

( But that's not going to happen. But Beleriand's Finest is a great name, even if I do say so myself. )
