B2MeM Challenge: Written for the following prompt left in the Rohan market stall by
just_ann_now: "I 'd love to read something about Eowyn's relationships with other women in Meduseld. Did she have any friends to confide in, either while she was growing up, or during the events of the story?"
Format: Short story
Genre: Gen. Character study. Friendship.
Rating: G
Warnings: None
Characters: Éowyn, female OCs, plus appearances by Théodwyn and Lothíriel
Pairings: Brief references to Éowyn/Faramir and Lothíriel/Éomer, but they're not the focus of the story.
Summary: "I should have given you sisters," her mother said. "This is such a place of men." This is a tale of Éowyn and the girls and women who might have been her friends in the years of her childhood, the dark years of her growing, and in the years yet to come.
