soft star spangled twilight,
a waterfall of velvet.

well.

I love that last one and I adore the form in which you are writing. (Since I am way out of my league with the Silm, I am trying to read the ones that I know first. After all, since I haven't read it, I have no clue if people are doing it justice or not.) Eowyn and Faramir, I know and love.

I wish I had come up with my idea for the Faramir/Eowyn one in time to claim my number, but I didn't think about the blue mantle until today!

The other two couples are actually in Appendix A. Valacar was a King of Gondor-- by marrying a woman of a different people, he started the Kin-strife. And Arathorn/Gilraen are Aragorn's parents.

oh, I knew those were Aragorn's parents. I just don't fully know their story. I have meant to read up on it, but never seem to get to it. As to the other ones, I had no clue about them. : ) I am a blissfully ignorant type of LOTR fan.
