While we still have 48 hours left in which to fulfill our last prompts, the final BINGO number has been called. So please you, do post here your thanks to the archive mods, stampers, taggers, card creators, and all the other awesome folks who have volunteered their time and efforts!

Date: 2012-03-30 11:25 pm (UTC)I especially wanted to thank-
Dawn, for her tremendous output of time and energy, her encouragement to newbies like myself, and a couple amusing musical interludes,
Rhapsody, my kickass stamper,
Indy and Lignota for the epic tagging job they've undertaken,
and the card-makers in general for providing prompts that are going to keep me busy for months to come. (Particularly whoever is responsible for the 'Alternate Viewpoints' card, that's my favorite).
I'm looking forward to next year!

Date: 2012-03-31 12:02 am (UTC)This is seriously one of the best things I've ever done in a fandom, it was scarily well-organised and ran clockwork-like, and the hard work of the mods and organisers has been staggering. The biggest BIGGEST of all THANK YOU's goes to everyone who made this possible; epsecially Dawn, our ringmaster
and ruling overlordand my amazing stamper, everyone who stamped and modded, everyone who tagged and everyone who made cards. And an especially big thank you to everyone who wrote, and an even BIIIGGER one to everyone who read and/or commented on my work! I've really enjoyed talking to people and really felt like I got to know more members of the fandom after this event!
I CANNOT WAIT for next year! You can be certain you'll be seeing me then!!

Date: 2012-03-31 12:12 am (UTC)Thank you so much to the amazing Dawn, as well as the whole SWG mod team and my stamper Russandol. This was very first B2MeM. I'd been out of the fandom for the past few years, and this was a great kick-start to get me back in and get me writing, whether or not fuzzy "inspiration" struck. I wrote a lot of stuff that was out of my general comfort zone, a lot of stuff that surprised me, and a lot of stuff that was just downright fun to create. More importantly, I got to read so many others' work, and talk to them about it. Thanks also to everyone who generously took the time to read my work and offer comments--March was so full of writing, that I'm seriously impressed that anyone even had time to read other people's stuff.
Huge thank yous to everyone.

Date: 2012-03-31 12:53 am (UTC)Shout out THANKS to:
DAWN - You simply amaze me. You simply amaze me!
RHAPSODY - My stamper par excellence. Always faithful, always there with cheerleaders, thanks and more thanks.
The other behind-the-scene moderators and stampers - rock on! You kept things moving and with the volume of stories that were getting posted, that was pretty darned amazing!
All of the card makers - Your challenges made my day. My husband almost divorced me because I was so involved in writing for the challenges, but your prompts pushed me fabulously.
I send a special thank you to whoever conceived of Maglor in History 1. That card led to so much research, delving into hidden archives, checking calenders, maps, battle plans, historic documents. I LOVED it!
So...at the risk of repeating myself a few thousand more times...THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!
- Erulisse (one L)

Date: 2012-03-31 01:32 am (UTC)Thank you, Dawn, for letting me know about this year's B2MeM - I probably wouldn't even know this was happening, if it weren't for you.
Another big thanks has to go to my official stamper - rhapsody, I think I've mentioned before that you were absolutely amazing this month, but it deserves to be said again. It was a pleasure working with you. Thank you for all your cheerfulness, kindness and support. I never imagined that a simple "will stamp" could make my day ten times better until I met you. *hugs*
I also need to thank everyone, who left a comment on anything I posted this month. Thank you for taking the time. You can be sure I will return the favour sooner or later. ;)
This has been one month of my life I won't forget so soon. I still find it hard to believe I've written so much. What I am most proud of is, that many stories I wrote took me out of my comfort zone and forced me to explore something different. There are characters I barely noticed in the books, but still ended up writing about them - and what's more important, I enjoyed writing about them. It was really fun and I hope we can do this again one day. There are still many prompts on those cards I'd love to do. But for now I am glad it's all over. I need time to finish all the stories and to start reading what everyone else wrote. ;)
This was truly an incredible experience. Thanks again to everyone involved in this, including all other participants. You're the ones, who made this event so special. :)

Date: 2012-03-31 02:13 am (UTC)This has been an amazing month for me. Mostly because this event was so much fun, especially since it really pulled me out of my writing comfort zone. (Or not-writing comfort zone, since I am more comfortable not writing.) But I've really enjoyed working on these prompts, reading all these amazing stories by all these authors that only a year ago I thought of as (excellent, excellent) names on a screen. But seeing you all here, working through your prompts (and frustrations!), it really inspired me.
So, thank you, Dawn! Thank you, card-makers! Thank you,
(Even you, Elleth! I have to admit, the primrose path is very nice this time of year.)
This has been great! I'm definitely doing again next year. ♥

Date: 2012-03-31 07:13 am (UTC)Thank you very much to Dawn and the other mods for their sterling efforts, to Rhapsody and the other unwearying stampers, and to the heroic taggers!
Thank you very much also to those who created the cards and an extra thank you to the creator of the Women of the Silmarillion card.
I thought the b2mem community was amazing--such an onrush of productivity by writers I had encountered before and by those I had not! And I loved lurking on b2mem support as well...
I've fallen behind on reading and commenting, so I'm looking forward to catching up on that--and also very much to the time when some of the WIPs that were reported but not posted begin to see the light!

Date: 2012-04-01 03:19 am (UTC)And thanks to all who wrote and commented and made me feel so at home here. I loved meeting some of you, and I loved reading all, and look forward to the WIPs! I have never felt such camaraderie in a fandom, and it was incredible to experience. You are amazing, and you have all given me many hours of pleasure and happiness this month. Thank you!

Date: 2012-04-01 05:38 pm (UTC)Special thanks to Dawn, who has stamped all my various cards this month (and at 85 cards, that can't have been easy to keep track of), and to Indy, for patiently explaining the tagging system to me, when I am far slower at understanding things like that then any human should be.
And thank you to everybody who posted on the stories I've had the courage to post :)

Date: 2012-04-01 10:26 pm (UTC)I had planned to use this to get some work done on all those WIPs I have, and in that aspect, I utterly failed. XD Instead I have an insane amount of new WIPs. Some of them are really great though (in my humble and naturally completely unbiased opinion), and I never expected to get so much done, and my previously dead muses seem to have been reawaked (does that give me zombie muses now?), so all taken together - total win. :D
Thank you so much, all of you who made this possible and put time and effort into it, especially to all the stampers, taggers, other organisational people, and naturally Dawn who's day seems to have at least twice as many hours as mine for all the work she does. I'm really amazed how smoothly the whole event worked out!
It was my first b2mem month, but I'll definitely be back next year! :D
(And now I'll enjoy the luxury of going to bed before 2am for the first time since a month. Unknown bliss. XD)
