Note: I rarely write Third Age, so the stars are strange there for me; this is also my first story with Celebrian as protagonist. I don't know how well you will think I did on the additional prompt...

Justice and Mercy - Linda Hoyland

"And this the Valar did, desiring to amend the errors of old, especially that they had attempted to guard and seclude the Eldar by their own might and glory fully revealed; whereas now their emissaries were forbidden to reveal themselves in forms of majesty, or to seek to rule the wills of Men and Elves by open display of power, but coming in shapes weak and humble were bidden to advise and persuade Men and Elves to good, and to seek to unite in love and understanding all those whom Sauron, should he come again, would endeavour to dominate and corrupt."

Let the Star Rise, by Zdenka
B2MeM Challenge: Zeal (Day One) and D (Day Six): “At the top, as high as Gandalf could reach, was an arch of interlacing letters in an Elvish character. Below, though the threads were in places blurred or broken, the outline could be seen of an anvil and a hammer surmounted by a crown with seven stars. Beneath these again were two trees, each bearing crescent moons. More clearly than all else there shone forth in the middle of the door a single star with many rays.”

Summary: Celebrimbor makes a symbolic decision.

Inspired by thinking that if Celebrimbor was using the Star of the House of Fëanor as a sigil in the Second Age and put it in such a conspicuous place as the Doors of Moria, his feelings toward his father’s family cannot have been unambiguous rejection.

A/N;I have had this story in my head for a while and BTME inspired me to write it down. I might well expand and revise it in the future.
It will make the story clearer if you have read “East is East” (written for BTME 2 years ago) and Wars and Rumours of War. I hope,though it can be enjoyed on its own.

"A Little Slow" by Himring
B2MeM Challenge: Late entry for Day 19 (O): Fëanor and his sons abode seldom in one place for long, but travelled far and wide upon the confines of Valinor, going even to the borders of the Dark and the cold shores of the Outer Sea, seeking the unknown.

Summary: Between two trips, Maedhros returns to Tirion, eagerly awaited by young FIndekano. At first, it is not entirely a success.

Warnings: Some mention of violence; extreme fluffiness towards the end
