Use of the bookkeeper is strictly voluntary. If you wish to keep track of your farthings on your own, that’s perfectly fine. If you wish to have [livejournal.com profile] zopyrus's help, you must post here.

The bookkeeper can help you with keeping track of how many farthings you have, help you figure out how many reviews or services you need to make to get out of debt (for example, if you offer too many prompts), and similar things.

If you wish to use the bookkeeper, please comment to this post with the following information:

Number of prompts offered:
Number of prompts purchased:
Number of reviews given:
Number of services given:
What you need help with (double-checking, debt, etc.):

Any further comments you make for help should be posted as a reply to your original comment thread.

So if I were to promote it at the group I mod at (LOTR_Dfic), how would I have them participate here? (I'm still rather new to this whole modding thing, lol, I want to get it right.)

If your members have LJ accounts, there's nothing special involved. They don't even have to be members of the B2MeM community to post.

If they don't have LJ accounts and only want to post prompts and review fanworks, they can do so "anonymously," meaning they have to sign the anon comment with a screenname. (Anon comments are automatically screened for spam prevention, and we-the-mods won't unscreen unsigned comments.) If they wish to post a fanwork in the community, they will need to get a free LJ account. (There's also a version of OpenID available.)

We encourage crossposting, so anything posted here for B2MeM can also be posted on LOTR_Dfic.

I've posted to LOTR_Dfic (took me a while to write up a proper mod post - I'm not in practice! *lol* ) I included links to this journal, to MPTT, to SWG and AO3. I figured those would be helpful.

I've now posted a promotion to a Facebook group I belong to, Dangerverse (it's off topic to the group, but off topic and random is often the order of the day there, and it is a fanfic 'verse fangroup, so...) My friend Casey, who's already added a few prompts (one of which I snatched up) comes from that group and I told her privately, so I thought it might be a good idea to let the rest of the Dangerverse fans know. Is that another two farthings? (Or is it four, for telling Casey separately and getting her here? o.O)

Posting on the Facebook group counts, but private word-of-mouth does not. That puts you at 14 farthings!
