How to Post your Prompts:
Leave a comment with the subject line identifying the main characters, gen/het/slash/femslash/poly (if it’s not obvious), a brief description of the prompt, and possible warnings if needed (MPTTor SWG’s). The comment itself should be the prompt.
If for some reason you cannot make a subject line appear, please write and bold the relevant information as the first line of your prompt.
The subject lines and/or bold text will allow participants to easily scan for prompts they're interested in.
For example:
Subject line-- Frodo and Aragorn, gen, hurt/comfort at the Field of Cormallen
Comment-- While Frodo is unconscious after being rescued from Mount Doom, Aragorn cares for him.
OR
Comment-- Fëanor/Nerdanel, wedding night, sexual content
On their wedding night, Fëanor and Nerdanel end up not sleeping at all, as they are too busy enjoying each other.

Feanor, Nerdanel, first meeting or first time
Date: 2015-02-25 04:07 pm (UTC)Nerdanel/OFC, post-Darkening hurt/comfort
Date: 2015-02-26 12:10 am (UTC)RE: Nerdanel/OFC, post-Darkening hurt/comfort
Date: 2015-02-26 01:53 am (UTC)I'd like to purchase this prompt, please. :D
Re: Nerdanel/OFC, post-Darkening hurt/comfort
Date: 2015-02-26 02:28 am (UTC)You purchase it by saying you want to purcase it. Simple as that.
Mod hat off: Eeeee!
Frodo, Bilbo and/or Sam; gen,Tol Eressëa
Date: 2015-02-26 04:32 am (UTC)It would be great to see a tale of such a meeting!
RE: Frodo, Bilbo and/or Sam; gen,Tol Eressëa
Date: 2015-02-26 04:39 am (UTC)no subject
Date: 2015-02-26 11:04 am (UTC)(They will probably meet Finrod at least, maybe more Elves.)
RE: Frodo, Bilbo and/or Sam; gen,Tol Eressëa
Date: 2015-02-26 02:39 pm (UTC)- Erulisse (one L)
Fingon/Maedhros, slash, getting married
Date: 2015-02-26 04:30 pm (UTC)In the midst of all this, Feanor and Fingolfin actually reconcile to some degree, if only in horror over their children's poor taste in partners.
Maybe there's a debate over the fact that they are half-cousins, but ultimately it's considered okay. Otherwise, as LaCE compatible as possible?
Up to you whether or not to show the wedding night! ;)
RE: Frodo, Bilbo and/or Sam; gen,Tol Eressëa
Date: 2015-02-26 04:48 pm (UTC)Elenwë + Amarië, post-Darkening, femslash or friendship
Date: 2015-02-26 06:04 pm (UTC)Anything with these two would be so great--especially if the focus is on their new lives in Aman, not just their feelings of regret for their missing friends and family.
Book of Lost Tales, Melkor/Tulkas, optional foot fetish
Date: 2015-02-26 07:54 pm (UTC)Any fic that runs with this would be amazing. I want to read all about the Most Awkward Roommates in Eä, and if you include Melkor's canonical foot fetish I will love you forever. :D Feel free to make this canon-compliant with the later Silmarillion, or just stick to Lost Tales canon in all its weird glory (or full-blown AU, if that's what floats your boat).
RE: Book of Lost Tales, Melkor/Tulkas, optional foot fetish
Date: 2015-02-26 09:51 pm (UTC)Feanor and the Proto-Simarils
Date: 2015-02-26 11:54 pm (UTC)Vairë, Feanor, Miriel
Date: 2015-02-27 01:31 am (UTC)I would love to see a story where Feanor and/or his mother use Vairë's tapestries as a way to stay 'in touch' with the family they have left behind. Perhaps Miriel watching her son's deeds unfold in the tapestries. Or Feanor (and possibly Miriel too) watching his son's in Beleriand.
How do they feel about what they see? How does it change them? Does Vairë interact with them as they look at her works and, if so, what are her thoughts?
Anything with those tapestries. It has always fascinated me that Middle Earth's history was recorded where those in Aman (or Mandos, at least) could see it. I've tried to write this myself, but I get no where with it. :( lol
RE: Book of Lost Tales, Melkor/Tulkas, optional foot fetish
Date: 2015-02-27 01:54 am (UTC)The language throughout is hilariously purple--the Valar promise him that Tulkas will be "given to Melko's power and pleasure," et cetera et cetera. Hence my admittedly cracky theory!
If you don't want to write about Melkor's feet, though, a) I don't blame you, I'm sure they're super gross and b) I'd be totally thrilled with any interpretation, be it slash or gen.
RE: Feanor, Nerdanel, first meeting or first time
Date: 2015-02-27 04:04 am (UTC)Re: Feanor, Nerdanel, first meeting or first time
Date: 2015-02-27 07:30 am (UTC)Galadriel, Aredhel, Indis, megafauna safari
Date: 2015-02-27 08:13 am (UTC)I always took that to mean that it'd be abundant in now-extinct megafauna from all sorts of different eras and continents living in the appropriate climate zones in Aman. I also like to think that Indis (whom I imagine to have been born in Cuiviénen and who I think participated in several mammoth hunting trips in her time) is very fond of her adventurous granddaughters (their age is up to you) and would have encouraged them to quiz her on family history. Of course, the inevitable question arising would be whether Indis could take them mammoth hunting (no, because it's dangerous and they are no longer dependent on that), but she does promise to go on a safari trip with just the two of them to see the creatures she's been talking about. Reminiscences and family bonding happen. :)

Date: 2015-02-28 09:19 am (UTC)A Surfeit of Kings
Date: 2015-02-28 10:36 am (UTC)If you've been a king, will you still be one when you are returned? Would you want to be?
There are a lot of Noldorin kings - feel free just to stick with them - but extra kudos if you can throw Elu Thingol and/or Oropher into the mix!
Fëanor, Maglor, Curufin; linguistics
