Date: 2015-02-25 04:47 pm (UTC)(In mine and Emma's 'verse, Celeborn became Prince of Doriath because his father, Galadhon - Elu's nephew - was exiled for aiding Luthien's escape so the title fell to Celeborn. But there could be other reasons, I'm wondering what someone will make of it. :) I put 'het' in there in case someone wanted to add a bit of Elu/Melian or Celeborn/Galadriel or whatever, but that's not important. :) I don't care about the rating.)

Date: 2015-02-26 08:14 pm (UTC)Now sure, Christopher Tolkien theorizes this might be because Beleg is one of the original parentless Elves from Cuivienen, but I like to think that maybe he was just raised by a single mom (or even two moms).
What is Beleg's mother like? Does she live in Doriath or elsewhere, and what are her political allegiances? Is she friends with Melian or Nellas? Does she ever meet Morwen or Nienor?
