Summary: What is luxury when opposed to home?

“There’s No Place like Home”

Elanor sat down upon the great bed given her in Annuminas, her eyes wide with awe. “Sam-dad, was it like this for you, there in Gondor, after the Ring was destroyed and peace had returned? This big, beautiful, and comfortable?”

His eyes were thoughtful. “Yes, lass, much like this.”

She shook her head with the thought of it. “How could you have left a place like this to come home to Number Three again?”

He gave a twisted smile. “I come home ’cause it was just that—home. It’s where I was planted, and where I wanted to be.”

Perfect. That is it exactly. (That and the need to constantly carry a stool to stand on :P )

Delightful!
It’s where I was planted, and where I wanted to be.
"Planted" - this seems like the perfect imagery for Sam :)
