Rating: Not sure the xenophobia in this one warrants a higher rating, but let's say Teens just in case

Warnings: Curufin being racist

Creators' Notes (optional): For different B2MeM '12 prompts, I started three separate stories in each of which Caranthir defended the achievements of the Dwarves against critical brothers. I never finished any of these stories and doubt that I ever will, so now I finally condensed them into a drabbles to make up a short series, with Curufin as the offending party each time. Sorry, Curufin.

The 'stereotypes' prompt is supposed to apply to the Dwarves, but meta-wise, I suppose my treatment of Caranthir also applies. ;)

Summary: Curufin is unimpressed with Caranthir's neighbours. Caranthir showcases some of their achievements to change his brother's mind.

The idea was too good not to use! Of course, Curufin is going to improve on it and invent movable type. ;) Glad you enjoy my characterisation of Caranthir! "Canonically", I know he's supposed to look down on the Dwarves too, but that would be boring. ;)
