I am going to read all of these. In fact, I may have read at least one of them many years ago - the first one sounds very familiar.

*hugs back* Thank you very much jenni. Atto Fiondil's final story, "Elf Academy 4" is still being given to us through the diligent work of his betas. He died literally in the middle of writing it (mid-sentence even, I believe) so Ellie, Shemyaza and the others are going to try and finish it for him, and for us. If they can't, I suppose it will remain as they subtitled it, his "Unfinished Tales".

I honor him with my writing as much as I can, trying to live up to all that he taught me. You might have noticed from this list, one of the homages I've thrown in just this B2MEM season, "Milyeanyel" his ficlet which gave its name to mine (though mine isn't about Aragorn).

I hope you will. Of course Atto's not there to answer reviews, but I hope to know what you think of them. "Lament for a Dying Son" makes me cry doubly hard these past two years, since one of his reviewers, Lynda, agreed with his prompt that spawned the story - "no one should have to die alone" - and Atto did. But I tell myself he wasn't truly alone, surely Lord Namo and Eru were there to welcome him.

I've saved these to read! I think I've read some of Fiondil's stories before and enjoyed them very much. Always poignant to read stories by someone who is no longer with us.
