Oh, the leaf looks so...sad, I think, and lost, and alone, all the other leaves around it are dead :( Poor leaf. I'm not sure what I'll think of for this one, yet, but in a weird way I just feel like I want to pick it up and cuddle it.

It is, at that. It's begun inspiring a thing, I'm just not sure where it's going. XD

I used it to inspire the latest chapter of my WIP...I actually started the story ages ago, but that lovely image gave me a nudge to get it moving again.

I actually have an idea for a short fic here- but does anyone know the name of the river that flowed through Lothlorien? At the beginning it's the Celebrant and the Nimrodel, and at the end it flows into the Anduin, but I can't find what's it's called after the Celebrant and the Nimrodel meet.

On the map I have it appears to be labelled as Celebrant after they meet - I'm not sure if that's accurate, though.

The fold-out map in Unfinished Tales doesn't label that bit of river, but it does have the Field of Celebrant next to the Anduin, which implies that the river leading up to it is the Celebrant.

Karen Wynn Fonstad's Atlas of Middle-earth has it as the Celebrant/Silverlode also.

I don't know if that's 100% definitive, but from what I've found, I agree with [personal profile] idleleaves.

Such a green leaf, yet where the water droplets sit it looks pure silver.

Not mithrial but'Mithril'. ;D
