Too late. Nerdanel already took over and it doesn't look like she's going anywhere.

I had no idea this woman was so bossy. :/

I do!! As I mentioned elsewhere, everyone seems to think that the seven inherited their behavioural traits from their dad... ;c)

*incredulous laughter*

I think Fëanáro Curufinwë gets way too much credit in fan fiction for his sons' behavioural traits... and for their actions after his death. Maybe they'd like to rename Nerdanel the Wise into Nerdanel the Invisible?

Anyway, Nerdanel was kind enough to allow me to finish the prompts for B10 last night, before returning to her story. I'm really beginning to like this lady.

How about Nerdanel the holy ;) Folks tend to put her on a pedestal for you know having loved Fëanor. This being said, I do hope that the number is called for that Fëanatics prompt now!

Oh, that one is one of those I'd *love* to do. And 'The Valar. Always the Valar.'. I keep begging to get a chance to rant about the Valar and how evil they really were, but maybe it's best that I don't. I doubt I'd be able to control myself there.

I adore Fëanátics card and every single prompt on it. (especially all the 'Who's to blame?? prompts) I could probably write a book just about that. ;)

Nerdanel the holy? *grins*

Well, it's hard not to think of her as such sometimes, since she had to put up with the 'fiery bunch' for so long. Maybe we forget too often that Fëanor wasn't always... er... slightly insane. Or that her sons weren't always "bloodthirsty killers" chasing some crazy Oath because of some jewels. IMO they had a pretty much normal life in Aman (hey, their normal doesn't necessarily mean our normal!) and that means they had flaws just like everyone else - Nerdanel included. Definitely no pedestal for her. I pity her for what she had to go through after her husband and sons left Aman. I bet the thought "I told you so" was not the one going through her head every time she learned about the death of her son(s). :(

*puts 'Nerdanel the holy' on the list of nicknames for the "Wise one"* ;)
