B2MeM Challenge: Crossover/G51 ("with an action/adventure film) Games People Play/G51 ("King of the Hill")
Yes, I know it's "a melodrama of manners," but it was the swordplay that originally stole my heart. That counts as action, of a sort.

Date: 2012-03-18 01:40 am (UTC)I found this very intriguing, Richard and Strider almost (but not quite) splitting hairs over the concept of sellswording (by whatever name): Strider the idealist believing his is more honorable because he does it for a purpose larger than himself, and Richard, the pragmatist,preferring his because it is his means of supporting himself and those he loves.
