Is there any chance you would like to share with our dear B2MeM participants, which cards did you create?

I know I'm probably too curious, but I like knowing that sort of things. *blushes* So many gorgeous cards were made for this event with so many awesome prompts. I wouldn't mind knowing to whom exactly do I owe my gratitude. So, which cards did you make?

As for the rest of you... do you by any chance have a favourite card or cards? Are there any prompts you were really looking forward to writing, but the number wasn't called? Any cards you wished you could have claimed, but didn't because you already had too many of them or didn't have enough time?

I made *deep breath* Adûnaic, Book Titles, Controversial Topics, Crackfic, Crossover1, Discoveries and Inventions, Elven Realms, Evil, Villains and Monsters, Food and Drink of Middle-earth, Quenya and Sindarin, Rare Characters, and Song Lyrics, and pestered Dawn to let me help with the graphics design of a few more for the prompts that people had submitted: All Creatures, Foul and Fair, Food, Here We Come A-Caroling, Hobbits, Hurt/Comfort, In a Manner of Speaking, Second Age, The Silmarillion vs. Harry Potter Character Matches, The Steward and His Sons, and Winter Wonderland. Going ever so slightly overboard with that as with most everything else this round, but both thinking up and creating cards was such fun! :D?

It's really really hard to pick favourites, though, because combining prompts was the real challenge - but I loved the AU, Economy, Fëanátics, Femslash, Four Words and Write What You Know cards, while TVTropes of Tolkien gets my nomination for the most devious card simply for the timesink potential involved with it. :D Doesn't mean I didn't enjoy the rest of the cards - they were all fabulous, and I can't wait to play again!

I think you win the prize for most fanatical B2MEM artist of the 2012 B2MEM season... I thought *I* was going overboard with card-creation, but now I have the measure for true insanity.

You're welcome! ^^ I thought no one was going to play the Adûnaic card, and that Controversial Topics was trotting out all those fandom clichés, but so glad you got something out of them! ^^

Impressive!

The Controversial Topics was another brilliant card and I adore the Rare Characters one. I still regret I didn't have enough time to write a fic about the Old Man Willow... and about Dís. :((

As for Song Lyrics: *glomps* That was singularly the most inspirational card I had.

You also did cards which required a lot of thought and effort! I was challenged with the ones I made just spell-checking all of the names of people, places and beasts (and relevant diacritical accent marks!). I did a couple for your Controversial Topics card and would have loved to have done more, but while it looked like great fun, it looked like work as well. I may randomly continue to fill some of these prompts throughout the year. The time limits killed me.

Heh - with you on checking and double-checking the accent marks and spellings. I was tearing my hair over how to spell Athrabeth, because I couldn't find that HoMe volume, and depending on the source it was spelled differently. XD I wasn't expecting Controversial Topics with quick fills in mind (except maybe a few squares there), so your assessment probably isn't all that wrong. ;)

Hope you'll manage to write many more things throughout the year. Writing under pressure isn't for everyone, so can totally understand how you got a bit fatigued by B2MeM. Some of the days I really just wanted nothing more than start up Lord of the Rings online and play to give my mind a break.

I'm so glad you liked the Hurt/Comfort design. It immediately made me think "These poor characters must be black and blue by the end of it" so that went into the design - obviously, heh. ;)
