Horses are darned hard to draw. All those joints and limbs.
You've got a good flow on the grass and trees and his tail.
Definitely too friendly a horse for his rider. Perhaps he'll throw him at the next pond. :D

Excellent (non) use of colour here, and the facelessness of the Rider is perfect. An incidental detail perhaps, but I very much like how you've done the leaves on the tree. The shading on the horse is nicely done as well. Its face looks a tad too friendly perhaps! But then there's not a great deal that you can do with a horse's face.
