Creator’s Notes (optional): I belatedly realized that my first rec list about Celebrimbor didn’t include any fanworks with Narvi! This seemed like a serious omission. Eregion is one of my favorite settings in Middle-earth, specifically in the Second Age when friendship with Khazad-dûm flourished. I don’t know if “the Doors of Durin” specifically counts as a setting, but I love them too, both as a work of craft and art, and for what they represent.

There's also a bit inspired by someone's post, can't remember where or whose, about the ambiguity of having two characters who could both conceivably be nicknamed 'Kano' and how that could lead to accidental incest.
Summary: Post-Nirnaeth, Maedhros is completely broken, and Maglor tries to comfort him.
