B2MeM Challenge: Kink (Femslash), The Immortal (Magic and Real), Fear of commitment (Relationship), I saw all the bright people in imposing flocks they landed (Song Lyrics)
Format: Short story
Genre: Romance
Rating: I'm going to go ahead and say "Adult." Though we're all adults here, right?
Warnings: Sex, mature themes--though more the latter than the former, I think. (Political BDSM?)
Characters: Sauron, (gender-swapped) Witch-King of Angmar, OFC
Pairings: Sauron/Witch-Queen, Witch-Queen/OFC
Summary: All is barter: for those who’d rule kingdoms, there are no safe words.
Note: This is a prequel to my earlier story, The Annals of Angmar, which presupposes that the Witch-King was actually a Witch-Queen.

Also, is it wrong that I now find Sauron kind of attractive?

Cards: Beachy and coastly: seacoast market i27, smells: fish B9, N32: beachy and coastly: Alqualonde, B14: Booktitle: fragile things
Format: Ficlet
Genre: Gen
Warnings: None

It should be quiet here.

That is what the elders say. What my mother says, when she speaks, if she speaks at all. But fragile things, as they often turn out to be, are actually quite strong in the end. Many of the houses are still in ruins. We have found all the dead, but not given them rest. How could we, when we were promised no one would rot here? And yet, they do. They will soon be returned, the messenger says. With new bodies, all brand new flesh and bone. Eventually, we release them. They float away in flashes of fire on the water, much like the ships they so valiantly sought to defend.

B2MeM Challenge:“Of the Fifth Battle: Nirnaeth Arnoediad” (Alternate Viewpoints), “Crossover with one of your favorite books” (Crossover 1).
Format: Story (2700 words)
Genre: Horror, character study
Rating: Adult
Warnings: Torture, rape, mutilation, character death, largely stream-of-consciousness style narrative.
Characters: Gelmir of Nargothrond, Gwindor, Sauron, bunch o' minions
Summary:  Gelmir, on his way to the incident that shall spark the Nirnaeth Arnoediad, reflects on the circumstances that brought him to this point.  Sauron has a noteworthy cameo because he tends to barge into my writing like that.

Author's Note:  The "crossover" is technically with the story "The Renegade/Le Renégat" from Camus' Exile and the Kingdom, but this mainly takes the form of my shamelessly swiping certain themes, narrative devices, plot and character elements, and putting them in Middle Earth.  I will not claim that my story represents or mirrors Camus' story in any substantive way, but it is meant to have certain striking similarities.
Since the Professor has been spinning a lot, I figured it was someone else's turn.

B2MeM Challenge: Femslash: B9, B14: Botany: Lotus
Format: Oneshot
Genre: Mystery/Romance/complete insanity?
Rating: Teens. I think.
Warnings: Might not be that safe for work. Nothing graphic, but...
Characters: Nimrodel, Amroth, some orcs, the River Gilrain
Pairings: River Gilrain/Nimrodel. Yes. Serious here.

"Softly goes, my song's entreaty, Thro' the night to thee. In the silent woods I wait thee, come, my love, to me"

There is that story about Nimrodel following her mirror image, dancing by the edge of the water, enthralled.

What would they say if they knew how near the truth those Halflings are? They would be surprised, certainly. Our kind is ever amused by the ignorance of mortals, the quickly changing tune of their stories. But sometimes innocent imagination comes closer to the truth than careful speculation, close to what you know. All history becomes myth, eventually, and it is largely the personalities of the storytellers and scribes that shape it, even as they strive to be closer and closer to truth, whatever that may be.

She lost him in the Ered Nimrais. )
