Format: Short Story
Genre: Drama
Rating: Mature-ish
Warnings: Some upsetting content, mentions of death (animal and human), and suicidal ideation.
Characters: OFC (Elendil's unnamed wife), Elendil
Pairings: Elendil and his wife, technically, but it's not exactly at the forefront.
Creator’s Notes (optional): I've been meaning to write this story ever since I saw James Turner Mohan's sketch "Out of the Sea I am Come". B2MeM finally gave me the impetus to do so. Also written with the "Hidden Figures" challenge and Legendarium Ladies' April in mind, inspired specifically by an old prompt from 2017, Shipwreck on the Rossbeigh Beach by Eric70. Also also vaguely inspired by Peter Gabriel's song Here Comes The Flood.
Oof, that's a lot of preamble for a short story.
Summary: Vëandis, formerly Lady of Andúnië, has been shipwrecked in Middle-earth. Now she and the other survivors of the Downfall have to find the strength to carry on.

B2MeM Prompt, Card and Number: G54: Gladden River (Card 61. Echoes in the Water), G54: And the runaway honeysuckle that no one will ever trim again (Card 115. The Late, Great Mary Oliver), G54: Once in a while members of the Took-clan would go and have adventures (Card 192. Tolkien Quotes), and almost all other G54 prompts.
Format: poetry (not really)
Genre: crack
Rating: PG (mostly harmless)
Warnings: None, except for foolishness. Well, technically character death.
Characters: miscellaneous or n/a
Pairings: Egalmoth/Celegorm (sort of), Beor/? (sort of), Celebrian/Elrond (sort of)
Creator’s Notes: Using Sasha Honeypalm's compilation of the text-only prompts for G54, an attempt to construct a found poem from all the G54 prompts. I gave up on the mysterious numbers designating the colour, but shoehorned the rest in.
Summary: Helter-skelter across Arda and through the Ages, vaguely chronological, with a small virtual reward at the end.
